+MAIN PLOT+
A world neglected, time and age has become uncertain. Sightings of what had once been advanced technology had diminished over the years, proving to be less reliable than their older counterparts. That has not stopped evolution; now earth is unrestricted by reality, harboring mythical creatures that have befallen it. And with a lost chalice handing over unrivaled power to its keeper, who wouldn't lance an effective revolt to gain it ?
After years of diligent searching for the elusive grail with no prizes to show. The whole of the vampire clan, werewolf tribe, and human village have come to the conclusion that the only place the grail could be; a place where no one has ventured into for centuries. The Fringe. The leaders of each group are gathering up scouting parties to send into the land of twisted beings. Will they find that of which they have sought since its coming to be?
Only time will tell...
-------------------
.CHAPTER I - BASIC RULES.
► Please, do not make multiple accounts. Multiple accounts used for personal gain (more characters of a certain race, more leader characters) will not be tolerated. Character accounts - accounts used to roleplay/organize things for any particular character – do not count towards this rule.
► Respect your fellow members, not just staff. We are a humble, kind people.
► DO NOT spam the boards with nonsense.
► Announce your absence.
► Public argument and controversy is permitted (ooobviously) so long as it isn't flaming/rude... And is posted within the Commer's Cafe board.
► If you were to complain about something to the staff, please do so in a polite and civilized fashion. ;]
► Any staff member assessing your character application has the right to deny you if something isn't right.
► Any distinct aspect about your character is your own choice.
► Application forms to create a character can be found HERE. Post it to the Pending board and wait for the character to be moved to the accepted board before posting as the character.
► Because this is "Vampire Sanguine," I would like to have the majority of characters on this site be vampiric (or at least close to the majority). Because of that each user is allowed to make no more than 5 vampires, 4 humans, 4 werewolves, and 4 fringe races.
► Another reason I made a limit to the characters that you can create is also to sort of force people to really think about their characters. I've seen in a lot of other role-play sites that doesn't limit this, and those users end up making a lot of characters that are very similar to each other, or they make so many that they forgive about a lot them and don't us them. I do this to insure quality of characters, rather than quantity.
► If you get tired of a character you can always kill off the character, or "retire" it. You can kill off the character through RP, or just retire it by PMing either Kisa or Pez. The profile of the retired or dead character will be moved the the Retired sub-board that is listed in the Biographies.
► After you retire a character, you are now opened to making a new character of your choice.
► A retired character is open for adoption if another person would like to play as that character.
► For the record, try to avoid all-around perfect characters that usually have tragic pasts, flawless appearances, etc. Not necessarily is this a die hard rule as much as it is a suggestion; it's just a re-occurring thing on forums and it tends to get on our nerves.
► If another administrator / moderator for reasons wishes to ban a member, they first must check with the main admin [ Kisa ] before doing so.
► Main Admins (Kisa and Pez) are allowed to post their characters straight to the accepted board -- unless they are filling out a form for a leader, in which case they must post their character sheet in the biography section and wait to be accepted by another main admin.
.CHAPTER II - SPECIFIC RULES ABOUT ROLE-PLAYING.
► Ultimately the seasons are fall, winter, spring, and summer. They're scheduled as follows in real time.
► No godmoding / powerplaying. This means that you should not control other characters out of your ownership.
► The use of copyrighted characters, photographs, drawings, or writings are prohibited unless you've gotten permission, or credit is given.
► If you wish for a more "mature" plot, please mark your thread with the key word 'mature,' and why it is being rated mature. I.e. {MATURE;Language}, {MATURE;Violence}
► I will allow characters to get married and have children, that is at the discretion of you. You can even god-mod your children, or another user can play the part of your child... It's up to you.
.CHAPTER III - HUMAN RESIDENCE RULES.
► Residence may now be made in the Residential Area of the Human Village. Only 2 PLACES OF RESIDENCE OR BUSINESS may be allowed PER USER
► A residential form must by filled out to be accepted by an admin. You may apply for a home or business.
► YOU must remember that the buildings in the human village are war-torn and WILL NOT be perfect or untouched.
► You can have any business you so desire, so long as it is realistic. Weapon seller, whore house, healer's office, etc are acceptable. You can also have a business partner and have employees. Just list them in your form, and you can always add or remove employes in the future by PMing either Kisa or Pez.
► You can have people live with you at your place or residence, just list them on the residential form. You can always add or remove living partners, just PM Kisa or Pez to do so.
► Remember that you are only allowed 2 buildings per user. This does not mean 2 buildings per character. YOU AS A PERSON are only allowed 2 buildings. I do this to keep things from getting cluttered, and to keep people from compulsorily making buildings and then forgetting about them.
► Once your application for a building has been accepted a sub-board will be opened up in the Residential Area of the Human village.
► If you get tired of any building for whatever reason, you can always PM Pez or Kisa and they will have that building taken down for you. Once the building is taken down you are now open to create a new building to take it's place if you so desire.
.CHAPTER IV - LEADERSHIP AND CHALLENGES RULES.
► Challenges may be held for ::
* Leadership of clans
* Higher Ranks within a clan
* Clan acceptance
* Life and death
► Blood Dolls and werewolf captives may challenge for their freedom.
► You can engage in battle anywhere at anytime.
► A challenge will be classified invalid if it is made and someone is on note of absence.
► Rogues are allowed to try for acceptance to a clan. Only a leader can accept them into the clan.
► You are only allowed one Leading Role per member. No exceptions.
► Members are not allowed to make a Alpha/Master/Mistress/Royalty/Leader as they please. You must apply for these ranks, through posting a character sheet in the Biography board, and sending a PM to either Ash (Kisa, or Pez).
► Leaders of groups are allowed to make mini plots that effect their group only. These mini plots must be sent to The Ash (Kisa, or Pez) through PM for discussion to make sure the plot will effect one group only.
•GROUPS•
~SANGUINES~
An old, proud family of vampires. They are cunning and ruthless. They are known for their wit and charisma. The Sanguines are picky with who they add to their ranks, but every so often there is a human that catches a vampire eye to be considered for the "change."
Their sworn enemy is the werewolves.
NO MORE THAN 5 SANGUINE CHARACTERS PER USER.. THIS INCLUDES BLOOD DOLLS~HUMANS~
'Nough said, one would think. They're humans... some not? o.O
After a war between the werewolves and vampires decimated their village, the humans struggled to rebuild their own lives. Many of their people were taken in the old war to become slaves for either the werewolves and vampires. Because of this the humans vow to rebuild their town, become strong enough to take back their people and to get revenge on the vampires and werewolves.
NO MORE THAN 4 HUMAN CHARACTERS PER USER~WEREWOLVES~
A majority of werewolves hinge their self image on being Sanguine's ultimate adversary, ever since their encounter and hear of the chalice. Ironically they are much like the Sanguine clan, but have additional tricks up their sleeves.
In addition to the rivalry between the wolves and the vampires, the werewolves also try to bolster their party by trying to steal the vampire's blood doll slaves in order to turn them into werewolves. The werewolves and vampires also often fight over the humans in the refuge, and over territory as well.
NO MORE THAN 4 WEREWOLF CHARACTERS PER USER.. THIS INCLUDES WEREWOLF SLAVES.~FRINGE RACES~
The races that was exiled from the main land centuries ago. These are ghosts, succubi (succubus), incubi (incubus), other were carnivores that are not werewolves (wereleopards, etc) and shapeshifters. They were exiled because they tried to take power, and lost. Ghosts were banished from the main-land to protect the inhabitants.
These races are not immortal, but they can live centuries longer than a human... Apart from ghosts.. who are.. dead already.
Ghosts can be seen, they can touch things if they will it enough, and they can be exercised -- which is to say they can be banished from a place, but cannot be destroyed. The only way to get rid of a ghost is for it to let go of their past life and move on. Ghosts can posses things that does not have souls -- that means inanimate objects and animals. They CANNOT posses humans/vamps/wereswolves/fringe races.. This is to prevent god-modding but still allow ghost characters to posses.
NO MORE THAN 4 FRINGE CHARACTERS PER USER
A more detailed description of allowed races can be found HERE.
